Money Raised for American Cancer Society
Thanks to the generous donations of money, supplies, labor, and time, and to food orders from community and school members, SHS's National Honor Society raised nearly $600 for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life of Kearsarge/Lake Sunapee. NHS students used the home economics room of the high school to prepare family-size Italian dinners, which were then run to the front of the school, where diners waited in their cars to pick up their orders. "We turned the home ec room into a little Italian restaurant," said NHS member Noah Skarin. "And our restaurant customers made this a fund-raising success," added NHS member Mariah Tenney. The entire National Honor Society is grateful to the following individuals for their support:

Chef, Tom Frederick
Reknowned bread baker, Judy Trow
