-- On Tuesday November 26, Randy Pierce of 2020 VisionQuest spoke to students at Sunapee Middle High School.  According to www.2020visionquest.org "2020 Vision Quest inspires people to reach beyond adversity and achieve their highest goals -- personal, professional, and philanthropic."  Randy spoke to staff and students on these topics, tying his organization’s mission in with the school's year long theme of "perseverance."   Randy, who has been totally blind since 2000, discussed his positive approach to adversity.    He shared the many obstacles that he had to overcome to be successful.  He challenged students to always do their best despite any obstacles in front of them.

In appreciation for his efforts, SMHS teachers Jon Reed and  John Gosselin (who coordinated the event) put together a video tribute to Randy's dog Quinn from a collection of images found on the internet.  Quinn who suffers from bone cancer has been Randy's faithful companion for over 5 years and is not expected to survive the winter.
