Rent-A-Kid Fall Fundraiser 2013

posted Oct 8, 2013, 7:54 AM by Ray Palin
The Sunapee Chapter of the National Honor Society will hold its annual fall
fundraiser on Sunday, October 27th. The Rent-A-Kid work day is an opportunity
for community members to get help with their fall yard work. NHS work crews
consist of five students and typical work includes jobs like stacking wood and
raking leaves. The fall fundraiser, which supports the National Honor Society
and the NHS Scholarship Fund, is a great way to support hard-working students
by paying for hard work.

About the Sunapee Chapter of NHS: Throughout the year, Sunapee High School's
NHS students serve as role models for other students. In addition to maintaining a strong
academic record, chapter members find ways to lead in the classroom and in school
organizations. Beyond this, members serve the school and community through many
activities, including ongoing work at the Newport Food Pantry, regular tutoring of middle and high school students, and
through various other assistance provided to teachers, community members, and local event organizers. Learn more here.
